You will own the troubleshooting and maintenance of Windows endpoint performance and systems.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate endpoint analytical and Windows event/log data to identify workstation performance concerns or incident drivers.
- Investigate and remediate root causes for Windows issues, covering OS, software configuration, network connectivity, and application conflicts.
- Monitor system performance and define areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Required Skills
- 9+ years of experience in a Windows engineering role.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems, architecture, and functionalities.
- Experience installing and configuring Windows OS on laptops, desktops, and servers.
- Proficiency with Active Directory services, Group Policy, and domain configuration.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and command-line interfaces for automation.
- Knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Proficiency with performance monitoring tools: PerfMon, ProcDump/ProcMon, Fiddler, Sysinternals, WinDBG, and Wireshark.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues in Windows 10/11.
