Description

You will manage and support data protection infrastructure across enterprise datacenters, data rooms, and cloud-based archive storage. You will maintain Windows Server 2016/2019 environments, manage virtualization, and lead disaster recovery efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server 2016/2019 environments, including hardware, peripherals, services, and storage.
  • Manage server virtualization environments and support private cloud architectures.
  • Lead disaster recovery events and develop runbooks for recovery, patching, and system builds.
  • Perform capacity planning, performance analysis, and proactive monitoring of data protection infrastructure.
  • Document infrastructure diagrams, installation procedures, and system standards.

Required Skills

  • Advanced experience with Windows Server (2016/2019) and Windows Desktop operating systems.
  • Experience with Linux and Unix operating systems.
  • Hands-on knowledge of VMware Hypervisor and Citrix technologies.
  • Experience managing datacenter hardware, including traditional, converged, and hyper-converged platforms.
  • Proficiency in application patching and system builds.
  • Working knowledge of storage-based technologies in a datacenter setting.
  • Experience using ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools.
  • Ability to use scripting languages for automation and reporting.
  • Experience providing second and third-level technical support.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience architecting and building IT infrastructure.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members and leading technical projects.
