Description

You will manage complex hardware and software configurations within data center environments, designing architectures that involve blade systems, virtualization, and cloud computing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain UNIX, Windows, and Linux hardware and software systems.
• Implement security measures including host-based firewalls, intrusion protection, and vulnerability scanners.
• Develop standard operating procedures and manage task planning and monitoring.
• Present technical information and findings to management, vendors, and technical staff.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or data center operations.
• Proficiency with Windows, UNIX, and Linux configurations.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP and network protocols.
• Experience with AWS and Azure security.
• Hands-on experience with Chef Inspect/Automate, TrendMicro Deep Security, CyberArk, and Tripwire.
• Ability to use Splunk to create searches, reports, and dashboards.
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, specifically Excel and Access.
• Proficiency in Crystal Reports development.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of data center design relating to cloud computing and virtualization.
