Description

Provide L2 support for Windows and Linux server environments, managing escalated incidents and performing root cause analysis.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot P1/P2 incidents and conduct root cause analysis.
• Administer Linux servers (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS) including log rotation and performance tuning.
• Execute Windows disk expansion, VM reconfiguration, and application deployment/removal.
• Monitor system health using Datadog, BMC Truesight, and Splunk.
• Document incidents and solutions in ServiceNow while adhering to ITIL processes.

Required Skills

• 3–6 years of experience in Windows/Linux system administration and application support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux distributions.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Shell scripting for automation.
• Familiarity with VMware concepts (VM, ESXi, Datastore, Snapshot).
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) for monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in multi-tier architectures (Application Server, Database, OS).
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and experience with ServiceNow or JIRA.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• Microsoft Certified (Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, MCSA/MCSE) or equivalent Linux certification.
