Description

You will manage the team’s compute environment and support HPC architecture design, deployment, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain customer compute architectures and HPC support systems.
• Administer Windows and Linux computer systems to ensure operational stability.
• Manage corporate intranet policy and compliance implementations.
• Support capital planning and develop hardware refresh roadmaps.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in system administration.
• Extensive Linux administration experience.
• Extensive Windows Server experience including AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Proficiency in shell scripting with Python, Perl, Korn, Bourne/Bash, or Powershell.
• Experience with system hardening using DISA STIG.
• Experience applying patches and building custom kernels for security or functionality.
• Experience with parallel systems, parallel processing, and parallel file systems.
• Experience with InfiniBand or Omni-Path high speed fabrics, subnet management, and IPoIB/IPoOPA.
• Experience with RDMA communications.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with High Performance Computing (HPC) environments.
• Familiarity with power and cooling requirements for server room equipment.
