Description

You will administer and support Windows Server and Linux (RHEL) environments across development, test, and production stages.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute OS patching cycles, vulnerability remediation, and compliance reporting.
• Manage core services including AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, system services, and file permissions.
• Troubleshoot OS, performance, and availability issues; perform RCA and preventive actions.
• Support virtualization and backup/DR operations in coordination with infrastructure teams.
• Create SOPs, runbooks, and maintain system documentation for deployments and incident resolution.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in system administration for Windows Server and Linux (RHEL).
• Strong patching expertise using WSUS, SCCM, third-party tools, yum, or dnf.
• Proficiency in shell scripting (bash) and PowerShell for automation and operational tasks.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, SCOM, or Prometheus.
• Working knowledge of networking concepts and security hardening practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Familiarity with configuration management (Ansible) and containers (Docker/K8s fundamentals).
