Description

You will lead the patch management process for Windows and Mac environments to ensure security, stability, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement patch management strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with security requirements.
• Evaluate patch criticality, impact, and compatibility with existing infrastructure and applications.
• Coordinate patch testing in pre-production environments, creating detailed test plans and cases for OS and application upgrades.
• Plan and oversee deployment schedules, monitoring progress to minimize disruptions to end-users and services.
• Collaborate with information security teams to prioritize patches based on risk assessments and vulnerability identification.
• Document test results, update knowledge bases, and review compliance reports and KPIs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and patch management for Windows and Mac machines.
• Hands-on experience with Windows and Mac operating systems and technologies.
• Proven expertise in testing OS patching and application upgrades.
• Practical knowledge of ITSM/ITIL methodologies.
• Ability to create comprehensive test cases covering pre-upgrade, upgrade, and post-upgrade scenarios.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to implement permanent solutions for technical issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder facilitation and executive reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
