Description

You will secure Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems against cyber threats across physical, virtual, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement security controls, policies, and patching procedures.
• Conduct POCs, design architecture, and write technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot escalated security issues and develop proactive solutions.
• Manage change requests within ServiceNow.
• Collaborate with Desktop, Server, and Security Engineering teams to implement security mandates.

Required Skills

• Expert-level experience with Windows OS, registry, file system, and Event logs.
• Hands-on experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Anti-malware, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
• In-depth understanding of OS internals and exploit mechanics.
• Proficiency with Group Policy and Intune security configuration and management.
• Ability to perform log file analysis, fault isolation, and root cause analysis.
• Experience investigating security incidents to uncover compromise details and threat techniques.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, VBScript, and Batch.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and MS Azure monitoring tools.
• 7+ years of experience in IT services organizations.
• 5+ years of experience in Desktop Engineering.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with endpoint security technologies.
• 3 years of experience within a Financial Services environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience balancing business function requirements with security risk mitigation.
