Description

Secure Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems across physical, virtual, and cloud platforms. Own the design, implementation, and documentation of security controls, policies, and patching procedures.

Responsibilities

• Design and propose architectures for new security technologies, including proof of concepts.
• Troubleshoot escalated security issues and develop proactive solutions for deployment.
• Collaborate with Desktop, Server, and Security Engineering teams to implement security mandates.
• Manage change requests within ServiceNow and represent the team in change meetings.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in an IT services organization.
• 5+ years of experience in a Desktop Engineering role.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with endpoint security technologies (EDR, Anti-malware, DLP).
• Expert-level knowledge of Windows OS internals, registry, file systems, and Event logs.
• Proficiency with Group Policy and Intune for security configuration and endpoint management.
• Strong skills in log file analysis, fault isolation, and root cause analysis.
• Experience investigating security incidents to uncover threat techniques and system compromises.
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Vb Script, Batch, Active Directory, and MS Azure.

Preferred Skills

• 3 years of experience working within a Financial Services environment.
