Description

Secure Windows Desktop and Server operating systems across physical, virtual, and cloud platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement security controls, policies, and patching procedures across all platforms.
• Conduct proof of concepts, design architecture, and write technical documentation for security initiatives.
• Troubleshoot escalated security issues and develop proactive solutions for deployment.
• Manage change requests within ServiceNow and represent the team in change management meetings.
• Collaborate with Desktop, Server, and Security Engineering teams to drive security mandates.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in an IT services organization.
• 5+ years of experience in a Desktop Engineering role.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with endpoint security technologies (EDR, Anti-malware, DLP).
• Expert-level knowledge of Windows OS, registry, file systems, and Event logs.
• In-depth understanding of OS internals and the mechanics of OS exploits.
• Proficiency with Group Policy, Active Directory, and Intune management.
• Experience with scripting using PowerShell, VB Script, and Batch.
• Ability to perform log file analysis, fault isolation, and root cause analysis.

Preferred Skills

• 3 years of experience working within a Financial Services environment.
• Familiarity with MS Azure tools for monitoring and configuration management.
