Description

You will manage, administer, and maintain a virtualized server environment providing 24x7x365 operational support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation, health, and security of the virtual server environment.
• Research vulnerability notices and deploy patches or workarounds.
• Perform Active Directory administration, including managing users, groups, and resource access.
• Conduct troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance benchmarking for system-wide issues.
• Maintain physical datacenter infrastructure and respond to monitoring alerts.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IT-related work experience.
• Direct experience with Windows Server administration and management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability remediation and patch management.
• Experience managing physical server infrastructure, specifically CISCO UCS Servers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management (MECM).
• Experience with cloud services management, specifically Azure and AWS.
• Knowledge of security standards including PCI, FERPA, and NIST.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with EMC enterprise storage platforms.
• Microsoft or AWS certifications.
