Description

You will manage, administer, and maintain a virtualized server environment providing 24x7x365 operational support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation, health, and security of the virtual server environment.
• Research vulnerability notices and deploy patches or workarounds with affected areas.
• Maintain physical datacenter infrastructure and respond to monitoring system alerts.
• Administer Active Directory users and groups to provide resource access.
• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance benchmarking for system-wide issues.

Required Skills

• 4 years of IT-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related IT field.
• Experience with Windows server operating systems and virtualization technologies.
• Proficiency in managing and monitoring Windows-based server hardware, operating systems, and software.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory administration.
• Knowledge of physical server infrastructure and infrastructure support tools.
• Ability to perform troubleshooting for common server and software issues.
• Experience with CISCO UCS Servers.
• Experience with Physical Server Management.
• Experience with NCAOC Virtualized Server environment.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of cloud services management, preferably Azure.
