Description

You manage and optimize Windows Server environments and VMware infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and security configurations.
• Maintain file servers, Windows-based applications, and patch management via WSUS/SCCM.
• Troubleshoot Windows performance, security issues, and VMware host, VM, or storage problems.
• Optimize VMware infrastructure for performance and scalability.
• Develop scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate VM provisioning and Windows deployments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Windows Server administration.
• Deep knowledge of Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022.
• Expertise in VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and VM management.
• Strong knowledge of Remote Desktop Services (RDS) with RD Gateway.
• Experience with KMS Servers and Microsoft Windows Volume Licensing.
• Proficiency with SAN/NAS storage solutions and backup technologies.
• Understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and Firewalls.
• Scripting experience in PowerShell, Python, or Bash for system automation.

Preferred Skills

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification.
• Experience with cloud integration in AWS or Azure.
