Description

You will manage Windows Server migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure provisioning across virtualized and physical environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute in-place upgrades and replacements of Windows Server 2016 to 2019/2022.
• Collaborate with Server Ops, DBA, Network, and Security teams for seamless transitions.
• Build and manage servers and snapshots within VMware vCenter and SAN storage environments.
• Provision and configure bare metal physical servers.
• Apply security agent exclusions, whitelists, and secure baselines to systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Windows Server 2016 and newer versions.
• Expertise in Windows Registry, SSL/TLS configurations, and Windows networking.
• Strong background in Active Directory, OUs, and Group Policies.
• Experience with Microsoft IIS and SCCM, including Task Sequences and package deployments.
• Proficiency in PowerShell, VBS, Batch files, and Windows Script Host.
• Technical knowledge of VMware vCenter, SAN Storage, and firewall concepts.
• Understanding of Change Management processes and cybersecurity best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft MCSE or MCSA certifications.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Familiarity with CIS Benchmark guidelines for Microsoft Windows OS.
