Description

You will manage and maintain a virtualized server environment providing 24x7x365 operational support for over 30,000 users.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation, health, and security of virtual server environments and physical datacenter infrastructure.
• Research vulnerability notices and deploy patches or workarounds to mitigate risks.
• Administer Active Directory users and groups to ensure appropriate resource access.
• Triage helpdesk tickets, performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting for single-user or system-wide issues.
• Assist with periodic disaster preparedness testing for the data center.

Required Skills

• 4 years of IT-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years of experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
• 3 years of experience with Microsoft Print Server technology.
• 3 years of physical server management experience specifically with CISCO UCS Servers.
• 3 years of experience with Enterprise Storage platforms, such as EMC.
• 3 years of cloud services management experience, preferably with Azure and AWS.
• 3 years of knowledge regarding security standards including PCI, FERPA, and NIST.
• Proficiency in PowerShell tool scripting.
• Experience managing and monitoring Windows server operating systems and virtualization technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft or AWS certifications.
• Familiarity with Statewide security standards.
