Description

You will manage the operation, health, and security of virtual server environments and physical datacenter infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage Windows Server environments, including health monitoring and security patching based on vulnerability notices.
• Administer Active Directory users and groups to provide resource access.
• Triage helpdesk tickets, resolving issues directly or routing them to the appropriate engineers.
• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance benchmarking for single-user to system-wide problems.
• Assist with periodic disaster preparedness testing for the data center.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Print Server technology.
• 3+ years of experience managing physical CISCO UCS Servers.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud services management, specifically Azure and AWS.
• 3+ years of knowledge regarding security standards including PCI, FERPA, and NIST.
• 3+ years of familiarity with NC Statewide security standards.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
• Experience managing and monitoring servers in virtualized environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot Windows-based server hardware, operating systems, and software.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Enterprise Storage platforms, specifically EMC.
• Microsoft or AWS certifications.
