Description

You will manage and optimize Windows Server environments and SQL Server infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server environments, including query optimization and scripting for automation.
• Implement backup and recovery solutions and execute disaster recovery plans.
• Manage system security through hardening, vulnerability management, and regular Windows patching.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and change controls.

Required Skills

• 5–7 years of Windows system administration experience in mid to large-scale environments.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server installation, maintenance, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for system automation.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies including VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix.
• Solid understanding of network fundamentals: TCP/IP, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Experience managing Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of ITIL practices and change management processes.
• Master's Degree.
