Description

You will serve as the technical SME for an enterprise-wide system with federal and state oversight, owning the architecture, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Windows server environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement technical architectures for product enhancements and statewide integrations.
• Manage server sizing, configuration, printer setup, bandwidth analysis, and capacity planning.
• Monitor, test, and install hardware and software updates using SCCM and SCOM.
• Identify, track, and resolve technical risks affecting the application team.
• Provide technical expertise for executive applications and participate in product design reviews.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with MS Windows Server in a large organization.
• 7+ years of experience with Microsoft IIS configuration and support.
• 7+ years of experience with HTTP Server/Apache support.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP networking.
• Experience with SCCM and SCOM.
• Strong Windows troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to provide accurate design and programming estimates.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• 5+ years of experience with Active Directory.
• 5+ years of experience with PowerShell and VMware.
