Description

You will maintain the reliability, performance, and support of the systems environment while planning for infrastructure growth.

Responsibilities

• Monitor systems and respond to incidents, including application crashes, performance degradation, or compatibility issues.
• Configure, maintain, and patch Windows servers to ensure security and stability.
• Build and manage continuous integration and release pipelines to support the software development life cycle.
• Develop automation tools and scripts to streamline application setup, patching, and configuration processes.
• Implement security measures including access controls, user permissions, and authentication mechanisms.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Windows server configuration, maintenance, security, and patching.
• 3+ years of experience building continuous integration and release pipelines.
• Strong shell scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Practical experience with release engineering functions and software development life cycles.
• Solid understanding of IP networking, DNS, load balancing, and CDNs.
• Working knowledge of programming languages such as C# and Java.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• Experience deploying applications across Windows and Linux platforms.
• Experience working within a Scrum environment.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience with DevOps tools including Jenkins, Bitbucket, Nexus, JFrog, Harness, GitHub Enterprise, GitLab, Ansible, Jira, or ADO.
