Description

You will manage and support Windows-based server and desktop environments within a networked infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and resolve system problems by working closely with end-users and IT professionals.
• Administer Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365, and SharePoint environments.
• Maintain network security using firewalls, anti-virus, anti-spam, and anti-spyware technologies.
• Configure and support LAN/WAN, VPN, and VOIP telephone systems.
• Manage virtualization via VMware or equivalent tools.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in an IT support capacity.
• Proficiency with Windows Server 2012 and newer, and Windows 10 or newer.
• Working knowledge of Azure, Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365, and SharePoint.
• Hands-on experience with SonicWALL, Ubiquiti, and Meraki hardware.
• Practical understanding of networking protocols including DNS, WINS, DHCP, VPN, and TCP/IP.
• Knowledge of enterprise backup systems and network security configurations.
• Familiarity with LAN and WAN configurations and concepts.
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, System Administration, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• CompTIA Network+, A+, or Security+ certifications.
• Vendor certifications in VMware or Microsoft technologies.
