Description

You will engineer and maintain Windows systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Debug Windows applications across various targets, identifying and tracking defects to closure.
• Debug the Windows OS on different targets to ensure functionality meets specification requirements.
• Investigate, remediate, and report system defects and issues.
• Develop test cases for software functionality and compatibility, maintaining scenario records.
• Develop Windows toolsets, primarily focusing on test automation tools, and debug source code.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Deep understanding of Windows Internals, system architecture, and kernel.
• Experience debugging Windows using tools like WinDbg and familiarity with PDB/Symbol files.
• Proficiency in C++, C#, and Microsoft PowerShell.
• Experience in defect tracking and generating defect reports.
• Experience designing Threat Models and identifying security risks.
• Familiarity with IT Security Compliance, Information Systems Security & Privacy.
• Experience with TFS, VSTS, and VSO, and Azure-based tools.
• Strong analytical and fault isolation skills when dealing with hardware/software compatibility.
