Description

You will engineer and maintain Windows systems, debug OS internals, and develop automation toolsets to ensure system stability and security compliance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Debug Windows applications and OS kernels across various targets, tracking defects to closure.
• Investigate, remediate, and report system defects and hardware/software compatibility issues.
• Develop and maintain test cases for software functionality and compatibility.
• Build Windows toolsets, focusing on test automation and source code debugging.
• Design threat models and identify security risks to ensure IT security compliance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in system engineering.
• Deep understanding of Windows Internals, system architecture, and kernel.
• Proficiency in C++, C#, and Microsoft PowerShell.
• Experience debugging Windows using WinDbg and familiarity with PDB/Symbol files.
• Familiarity with TFS, VSTS, VSO, and Azure-based tools.
• Experience in defect tracking and generating detailed defect reports.
• Strong analytical and fault isolation skills for hardware/software compatibility.
• Knowledge of IT Security Compliance and Information Systems Security.

Preferred Skills

• ISACA certification or similar security compliance credentials.
