Description

You will manage the lifecycle and configuration of Windows hardware assets.

Responsibilities

• Install device images on self-hosted units, managing between 10 and 150 units.
• Collaborate with the Windows OS team to retrieve early Windows OS builds.
• Work with platform software leads to gather necessary drivers, BIOS, and applications for device images.
• Create and manipulate custom OS images using DISM and WinPE.
• Perform hardware setup, troubleshooting, and testing of laptops and desktops in lab environments.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Windows OS, including OS imaging.
• Proficiency with DISM and WinPE for image creation and manipulation.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and disk management tools.
• Knowledge of BIOS and firmware updates, including driver management.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues in a lab setting.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related field.
