Description

You will design, provision, and manage server infrastructure and virtualized environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provision new servers, including hardware configuration and operating system installation.
• Manage virtualized environments using VMware and Hyper-V to optimize VM configurations and resource allocation.
• Implement configuration management, patch management, and regular maintenance to address security vulnerabilities.
• Monitor performance metrics, forecast capacity requirements, and scale resources to meet workload demands.
• Execute backup strategies, conduct recovery testing, and manage server decommissioning with secure data disposal.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in server and virtualization management.
• Expertise in Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Advanced proficiency with VMware virtualization platforms.
• Experience with configuration management and patch management tools.
• Knowledge of hardware maintenance and component upgrades.
• Ability to manage network connectivity and troubleshoot server communication.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
