Description

You will design, plan, and oversee enterprise virtualization and server architecture to ensure high data availability and consistent management standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design architecture according to best practices, including the integration of new customers and projects.
• Develop specifications, sizing, and oversight for organizational policies, standards, and procedures.
• Lead major incident calls to resolution and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Mentor team members and collaborate with application teams, stakeholders, and other architecture groups.
• Conduct research into server, storage, and virtualization products and standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of architecture experience across multiple vendors and technologies.
• In-depth expertise in VMware ESXi, vSphere, vRA, vSAN, vCenter, SDDC, and NSX-T.
• Hands-on experience with VxRail, Dell, and Nutanix architecture and troubleshooting.
• Deep knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and GPO.
• Experience managing Private, Public, and Hybrid Cloud environments and orchestration platforms.
• Expertise in x86 server hardware and Windows/Linux in HA/DR configurations.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and SAN, NAS, DAS, RAID, SCSI, and Fibre Channel.
• Proficiency with backup to disk, clustering, and encryption technologies.
• Ability to present technical ideas to executive and managerial audiences.

Preferred Skills

• VMware Cloud, Virtualization, Server, and Storage vendor certifications.
