Description

Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server environments, ensuring high availability and security across the infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade Windows systems, servers, and computer components.
• Manage virtual servers using VMware or Hyper-V and integrate automation processes.
• Perform periodic health checks, troubleshoot system errors, and implement rectification measures.
• Execute vulnerability closures (VA) and maintain security through access controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Oversee data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery (DR) protocols for cloud infrastructure, applications, and databases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in system administration and infrastructure maintenance.
• Extensive knowledge of VMware and Hyper-V technologies.
• Proficiency in Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance.
• Ability to create automation scripts using PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with patch management and vulnerability closure.
• Solid understanding of LAN, WAN, and network security systems.
• Knowledge of storage and SAN technologies.
• Understanding of Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
• Experience managing databases and system performance monitoring.

Preferred Skills

• Experience handling large-scale setups and complex server architectures.
