Description

You will manage and maintain hybrid Windows and Linux environments while supporting ServiceNow integrations.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server and Linux (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu) systems.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot ServiceNow MID Servers to support on-premise integrations.
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting.
• Monitor system performance, manage patching, and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with ServiceNow developers to support discovery, orchestration, and integration use cases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in system administration across Windows and Linux platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server and Linux (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture and MID Server functionality.
• Proficiency with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Ability to script and automate using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Knowledge of network protocols and firewall configurations for MID Server communication.
• Experience maintaining system documentation and architecture diagrams.

Preferred Skills

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or related certification.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure and hybrid environments.
