Description

Manage Unix and Windows server administration for legacy modernization projects.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Execute OS and application builds, hardening, and configurations.
• Develop and troubleshoot scripts for servers, services, and operations.
• Perform system analysis and troubleshooting for complex software and operating system issues.
• Write technical and user documentation for all system changes and processes.
• Test systems and applications to verify user and functional requirements.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in systems administration or analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server and Unix administration.
• Proficiency in Azure cloud environments and remote virtual servers.
• Experience with MS SQL and/or Oracle database backends.
• Microsoft 365 administration experience, including government tenant environments.
• Ability to manage change management workflows and business processes.
• Experience working within a State Data Center environment.
• Proven ability to work independently on cross-functional projects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IBM Datacap Software.
