Description

Provide production support for Microsoft Windows and Unix environments, resolving technical inquiries and managing application configurations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Resolve technical inquiries and production issues as they arise.
• Execute Environmental Impact Analysis, install plans, and operational readiness procedures.
• Manage application installations and configurations across various server environments.
• Coordinate daily tasks for assigned technical projects.

Required Skills

• 2-6 years of experience in production support for Microsoft Windows and Unix environments.
• Hands-on experience with IIS, Windows Services, and Windows application architecture.
• Proficiency with Oracle, SQL, SSRS, and Reporting.
• Experience installing and configuring Apache Tomcat, JBOSS, and Apache Httpd.
• Experience with IBM HTTP Server and IIS.
• Exposure to Unix commands and Unix server handling.
• Practical knowledge of ServiceNow, Splunk, and Dynatrace.
• Exposure to password management, SSL certificate management, and vulnerability remediation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with WebSphere 9, JBOSS, and OpenShift container management.
• Knowledge of Bitbucket, Jenkins, and REST webservices.
• Understanding of networking, load balancer concepts, and financial services industry standards.
