Description

Manage and engineer Windows, VMware, and AWS environments across a large-scale infrastructure of over 500 servers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain server hardware, software, and enterprise storage solutions.
• Manage AWS instances, AMIs, load balancers, and AWS Workspaces.
• Execute patch management and security deployments for Windows servers and third-party applications.
• Design and monitor backup policies and disaster recovery processes for on-premises and AWS environments.
• Monitor system performance and logs to proactively address capacity or availability issues.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Windows Systems Administration and Engineering experience.
• 3+ years of Windows Server experience within AWS (instances, AMI, load balancers).
• Hands-on VMware experience (vCenter, ESXi, VMView) for on-premises operations.
• Advanced Active Directory administration and redesign experience.
• Experience managing Windows Server 2016 and desktop operating systems.
• Knowledge of network architectures, protocols, and supporting LAN/WAN/Internet environments.
• Experience with SAN and enterprise storage design and administration.
• Proficiency in scripting for software installation, updates, and patching.
• Familiarity with security administration, VPNs, and disaster recovery procedures.

Preferred Skills

• Linux operating system experience.
• Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Clarity.
