Description

You will manage Windows Server and VMware environments to ensure infrastructure stability. You own the lifecycle of physical and virtual servers, from deployment to troubleshooting and patching.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows Servers and VMware ESXi/vCenter hosts.
• Resolve L2/L3 issues regarding server crashes, performance bottlenecks, and connectivity.
• Execute OS and firmware updates, patch management, and version upgrades for Windows and ESXi.
• Manage VM deployment, resource allocation, and network configurations including virtual switches and VLANs.
• Handle incident management within SLA timelines and conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Windows Server and VMware vSphere administration.
• Proven experience upgrading Windows Server (2012R2 to 2016/2019).
• Experience upgrading ESXi hosts from 6.x to 7.x/8.x.
• Proficiency in Azure, AWS, and O365.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, GPO, DFS, DNS, and DHCP.
• Ability to manage infrastructure changes following ITIL change management policies.
• Skills in configuring group policies, access permissions, and security settings.
