Description

You will manage and implement network optimization projects from inception to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze RF site survey results to drive network optimization.
• Design architecture and solutions for new Wi-Fi feature implementations.
• Troubleshoot root causes for RF and wireless issues and manage vendor bug resolutions.
• Collaborate with data science teams to extract business insights from network datasets.
• Test, validate, and implement new wireless standards on the network.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in wireless engineering.
• Expert-level understanding of 802.11 networks and protocols (802.11n/ac/ax).
• Deep knowledge of 802.11 MAC, QoS, and RF characteristics.
• Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi optimization in high-density outdoor, stadium, or enterprise environments.
• Experience with Cisco, Ruckus controllers, or Cisco Meraki APs.
• Proficiency in spectrum and packet capture/analysis.
• Experience using site survey tools such as AirMagnet or Ekahau.
• Understanding of TCP/IP protocols, IP networking, and 802.1x security.
• Expertise in defining Wi-Fi network health monitoring and KPIs.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi 7, and industry standards (WBA, WFA).
• Ability to optimize networks for the convergence of Wi-Fi and 5G.
• Experience with broadband products including CPE RDKB devices, DOCSIS, and Cable Modem standards.
