Description

You will design, implement, and manage large-scale wireless network solutions and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on installation, configuration, and testing of wireless infrastructure and Cisco hardware.
• Design and implement high-density AP and client deployments for plant floor environments and AGV support.
• Configure and manage Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) and ISE infrastructure.
• Conduct wireless site surveys using spectrum analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot network faults using packet-level captures, debugs, and logs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in wireless and security engineering.
• Deep understanding of IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g), 802.1x, and WLAN security (WPA2, WEP, PSK).
• Expertise with Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (AirOS, IOS-XE, Catalyst) and Cisco Access Points.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco DNA Center, ISE, and Cisco Prime Infrastructure.
• Proficiency in AAA protocols, including RADIUS, EAP, LEAP, and PEAP.
• Experience with packet-level troubleshooting using Wireshark for over-the-air and Span captures.
• Strong knowledge of switching technologies including STP, Trunking, EtherChannel, HSRP, VRRP, and LACP.
• CCNA or CWNA certification is required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AirMagnet or Ekahau for site surveys and spectrum analysis.
• Knowledge of Cisco MSE, CMX, and DNA Spaces.
• Experience with BLE and IoT technology integration.
