Description

You will configure and maintain the organization's wireless network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Set up wireless access points, VLANs, SSIDs, policies, and security settings.
• Implement advanced features including RF management, guest access, and seamless roaming.
• Migrate users from AirOS to the IOS controller platform and provide post-migration support.
• Diagnose and resolve wireless network issues like connectivity problems, performance degradation, and interference.
• Apply patches and perform software upgrades to controllers while adhering to the Change Management Process.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering.
• Proficiency with Cisco Switches and Catalyst Center.
• Knowledge of CCNA and CCNP concepts.
• Experience with wireless platforms such as Ekahau and AirMagnet.
• Configuration of security protocols including WPA2/WPA3 and 802.1X.
• Ability to configure security features like rogue AP detection and containment.
• Experience with WAN technologies.
• Documenting network configurations, topologies, and troubleshooting steps.
