Description

Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise wireless LAN (WLAN) solutions across corporate and industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Aruba wireless solutions and Aruba ClearPass environments, including 802.1X, RADIUS, NAC, device profiling, and role-based access control.
• Conduct predictive and onsite wireless surveys using Ekahau, Hamina, and other assessment tools for channel planning, coverage optimization, and interference mitigation.
• Lead troubleshooting for complex wireless issues, including authentication failures, connectivity problems, and performance degradation.
• Develop and maintain Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation and Bill of Materials (BoM) for deployments, refreshes, and upgrades.
• Support wireless lifecycle management, SD-WAN connectivity services, and disaster recovery initiatives utilizing 5G and satellite technologies.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in Network Engineering with a strong focus on Enterprise Wireless Networks.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Aruba Wireless technologies and cloud-managed wireless platforms.
• Strong expertise in Aruba ClearPass, including 802.1X Authentication, RADIUS, Network Access Control (NAC), Device Profiling, and Role-Based Access Control.
• Deep understanding of Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E, and Wi-Fi 7, including RF fundamentals, power optimization, and interference mitigation.
• Proficiency with wireless survey and design tools, specifically Ekahau and Hamina.
• Experience designing and implementing large-scale enterprise WLAN environments.
• Ability to analyze network performance metrics, trends, and wireless analytics data.
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to travel to client locations for pre-deployment and post-deployment wireless surveys.
