Description

You will manage the end-to-end wireless regulatory validation process for consumer electronics.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute wireless regulatory verification plans by translating worldwide requirements into specific test cases.
• Develop test procedures for wireless regulatory validation and coordinate with compliance teams to ensure coverage.
• Maintain and manage testing equipment for various radio technologies.
• Analyze internal and third-party data to establish correlation, then debug root causes and provide mitigation plans with development teams.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in wireless regulatory validation for consumer electronics.
• Hands-on experience with R&S CMW500 and/or Keysight UXM equipment.
• Technical knowledge of 5G NR FR1 and FR2, LTE, GSM, UMTS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi up to Wi-Fi 6/6e.
• Experience conducting radiation performance evaluations including emissions, EIRP, and EIS.
• Practical experience working with anechoic and semi-anechoic chambers.
• Deep understanding of wireless regulatory test requirements for USA, CA, and EU.
• Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of CE marking and Quality Assurance processes.
