Description

You will develop and execute tests, conducting hands-on functional and performance testing on wireless and fixed networks in-house and via external labs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze 4G-LTE, 5G-NR, Wi-Fi, GNSS, Ethernet, and IP behavior internally and with partners.
• Identify root causes of failures found internally or externally.
• Select, procure, commission, and configure test cases on network emulators and related test equipment (e.g., Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz).
• Construct and maintain lab infrastructure, including fixed network test harnesses and RF cabling.
• Draft and present Test Plans, Design Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, and Data Reviews.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Telecomunications, or similar.
• Hands-on experience configuring/programming wireless test platforms (Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz).
• Expertise in 3GPP 4G-LTE / 5G-NR network architecture, Wi-Fi, Ethernet (IEEE 802.1AS, 802.11), and IP protocols.
• Hands-on test experience with SFN/PTCRB/GCF test suites with U.S. MNO & field testing.
• Experience with Wi-Fi, PHY designs, and coexistence between Wi-Fi, Cellular and GNSS.
• Ability to use network analysis tools (e.g., QXDM, Wireshark) and analyze communication behavior.
• Advanced scripting/automation skills using Python and JavaScript with scalable framework design.
• Familiarity with Requirement-Test Case management tools such as Polarion.
