Description

You will own the validation of wireless and fixed network behaviors, ensuring functional and performance compliance through rigorous internal and external testing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute hands-on functional and performance tests for 4G-LTE, 5G-NR, Wi-Fi, GNSS, Ethernet, and IP.
• Select, configure, and commission test cases on network emulators and test equipment such as Keysight and Rohde & Schwarz.
• Analyze root causes of failures identified in-house or by external partners.
• Construct and maintain lab infrastructure, including fixed network test harnesses and RF cabling.
• Draft and present Test Plans, Design Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, and Data Reviews.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar.
• Expertise in 3GPP 4G-LTE and 5G-NR network architecture, Wi-Fi, Ethernet (IEEE 802.1AS, 802.11), and IP protocols.
• Hands-on experience configuring wireless test platforms (Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz).
• Experience with SFN/PTCRB/GCF test suites and U.S. MNO field testing.
• Proficiency with network analysis tools (QXDM, Wireshark) to analyze communication behavior.
• Advanced scripting and automation skills using Python and JavaScript with scalable framework design.
• Familiarity with requirement and test case management tools such as Polarion.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Wi-Fi, PHY designs, and coexistence between Wi-Fi, Cellular, and GNSS.
