Description

You will execute testing and troubleshooting for wireless and consumer device products.

Responsibilities

• Perform wireless mesh testing and root-cause analysis for networking issues.
• Troubleshoot technical problems in collaboration with technology partners and vendor teams.
• Maintain and assist with test automation within highly automated product test environments.
• Test broadband products including DOCSIS, cable modem standards, and digital voice.
• Conduct hands-on testing for consumer products, specifically high-performance video applications.

Required Skills

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 4 to 10 years of experience in networking and wireless technologies.
• Expert understanding of 802.11 technologies and IP protocols.
• Moderate knowledge of scripting and programming languages.
• Experience with home networking protocols including Bluetooth, Zigbee, and Wi-Fi.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis skills.
• Basic knowledge of data science tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Load and Performance testing.
