Description

You will design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures and converged IP networks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate network solutions by configuring, testing, and installing hardware aligned with enterprise standards.
• Install and document network infrastructure including routers, switches, WLAN, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Lead the resolution of complex network issues and troubleshoot heterogeneous networks to identify bottlenecks.
• Perform security audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments.
• Maintain production environment documentation through change management systems and Visio network diagrams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in network engineering.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP and the OSI model.
• Hands-on experience with WLAN, WAN/MAN, LAN, and VPN/Firewall technologies.
• Proficiency with routing protocols including EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
• Experience with FR/ATM, PPP, HDLC, MLPPP, and VLAN.
• Knowledge of DS3/T3, DS1/T1, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, and 10 Gigabit Ethernet.
• Bachelor's Degree in an IS-related technical field or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
• Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP).
• Knowledge of IEEE and TIA/EIA standards.
