Wireline Validation Engineer

Validate access network features for residential and enterprise connectivity services.

Responsibilities

• Set up validation test beds using Nokia 7750 Service Routers, Nokia and ADTRAN OLTs, optical splitters, GPON/XGS-PON ONTs, WiFi routers, and aggregation switches.
• Develop test plans to validate BNG, OLT, and ONT functionality for ultra-speed residential internet and enterprise services including Ethernet, MPLS, and wavelength-based connectivity.
• Execute testing using third-party traffic generation tools such as IXIA and Spirent.
• Troubleshoot issues within the test bed and traffic generators during test execution.
• Collaborate with equipment vendors and internal teams to provision, validate, and troubleshoot services.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network validation or testing.
• Hands-on experience with Ethernet and MPLS.
• Proficiency in test planning and test execution.
• Experience with ASIC-based hardware environments.
• Practical knowledge of Nokia 7750 Service Routers and ADTRAN OLTs.
• Familiarity with GPON and XGS-PON ONT technologies.
• Experience using IXIA or Spirent traffic generation tools.
