Description

You will design and optimize wiring harnesses for medium and heavy-duty trucks, ensuring technical agreements and manufacturability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop wiring harnesses, including clamping and fixation, through stakeholder cooperation.
• Route harness and power cables in a 3D environment using Catia or Creo.
• Prepare and release harness bundle drawings.
• Propose design solutions cross-functionally to secure technical agreements and ensure design for assembly and serviceability.
• Manage Product Structure (KOLA) interfaces and Supplier Involvement in Product Development (SIPD).

Required Skills

• 5 to 10 years of experience in wiring harness design.
• Proficiency in Creo or Catia for 3D routing in a truck environment.
• Hands-on experience with Wiring Harness design and development.
• Knowledge of Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders including systems engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers.
• Strong problem-solving and structured approach to technical challenges.
• B.E., B.Tech., M.E., or M.Tech. in an electrical or mechanical domain.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Saber.
