Description

You will design, implement, and manage 802.11 Enterprise WLAN solutions as an individual contributor.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network protocol stacks and Android networking software components.
• Develop and debug WLAN device drivers for Qualcomm, Broadcom, Marvell, or MediaTek Wi-Fi stacks.
• Implement wireless security protocols including WPA and WPA2.
• Manage Wi-Fi roaming logic and 802.11ax standards implementation.
• Analyze RF behaviors and characteristics as they relate to WLAN RF design.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in wireless protocol development.
• Strong proficiency in C, C++, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with Linux OS and Android OS.
• Deep knowledge of IEEE 802.11 standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/k/v/r).
• Experience with network protocols including DHCP, TCP/IP, UDP, and Socket Programming.
• Proficiency with debugging tools such as OmniPeek, Wireshark, and Clockwork.
• Experience in kernel development and driver development.
• Understanding of routing and subnet concepts.
• Knowledge of wired and wireless security principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with 802.11ax protocols.
• Prior experience in Enterprise product development.
