Description

Develop and maintain enterprise and consumer-facing website systems using WordPress.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Convert comprehensive layouts and wireframes into functional HTML pages.
• Integrate front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.
• Maintain site security and implement application protection measures.
• Manage deployments and version control using Git and CI/CD workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in WordPress development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP back-end development.
• Expertise in WordPress theme and plugin creation.
• Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap integration.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript and jQuery.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON/XML formats.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Ability to use browser developer tools and debugging tools like Chrome Inspector.
• Understanding of responsive design principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with unit testing and debugging frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
