Description

Lead the end-to-end development, deployment, and maintenance of a multi-lingual WordPress website as an individual contributor.

Responsibilities

• Customize and modify custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
• Translate design assets into functional web pages in collaboration with the design team.
• Manage website releases, version history, and multi-language functionality.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across multiple browsers and devices.
• Provide accurate task timelines based on technical requirements.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of full-time experience in WordPress website development.
• Proven experience building and maintaining at least 3 responsive WordPress websites with 20+ pages each.
• Expertise in building custom WordPress themes from scratch.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Hands-on experience with WPML, CookieYes, Optinmonster, and Gravity Forms.
• Experience integrating APIs and third-party applications.
• Familiarity with version control systems.
• Strong understanding of web performance and security considerations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within a multi-lingual environment.
