Description

You will build and maintain responsive, SEO-optimized WordPress websites using custom themes and plugins.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and customize WordPress themes and plugins from scratch or based on existing codebases.
• Maintain, update, and troubleshoot existing WordPress sites to ensure stability.
• Optimize site performance, SEO structure, and accessibility standards.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs such as Mailchimp, Stripe, and HubSpot.
• Conduct cross-browser and device compatibility testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing with WordPress.
• Proficiency in PHP and MySQL.
• Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience working with Git for version control.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and AJAX implementation.
• Familiarity with page builders like Elementor or Gutenberg.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with WooCommerce, ACF, or Custom Post Types (CPT).
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and security best practices.
