Description

You will build, maintain, and optimize WordPress-based web applications and custom features.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Set up development environments and configure WordPress with required plugins.
• Implement custom application features using PHP and create high-quality HTML/CSS from graphic mockups.
• Identify, debug, and fix issues in web-based applications.
• Develop, document, and execute testing strategies and test cases to ensure applications meet business objectives.
• Collaborate with team members to identify unexpected site behavior and meet project deliverables.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience developing web pages using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• 1+ years of WordPress or CMS experience.
• Proficiency with Linux, Apache, MySQL, and ASP/JSP/PHP.
• Experience with Bootstrap front-end framework.
• Experience using GIT.
• Working knowledge of NPM and other package management software.
• Experience with Sage or similar modern WordPress frameworks.
• Understanding of web servers, internet protocols, and database queries/design.
• Basic knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with common testing concepts, QA methods, and software automation testing tools.
• Ability to create, document, and develop formal test plans.
