Description

You will lead the design, scalability, and security of enterprise-scale WordPress multisite architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own platform scalability, performance optimization, and high availability for multisite deployments.
• Implement enterprise-grade security controls, vulnerability management, and patching.
• Establish plugin lifecycle governance, including evaluation, approval, and deprecation frameworks.
• Review code and provide technical leadership to ensure adherence to architecture standards.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot to enhance development productivity and code quality.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in web/platform engineering with strong focus on WordPress.
• Proven expertise in WordPress multisite architecture and operations.
• Strong background in PHP, MySQL, and REST APIs.
• Experience managing plugin ecosystems at scale with governance controls.
• Demonstrated experience as a technical lead or platform owner in enterprise environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms including Azure and GCP.
• Experience working with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in high-tech or semiconductor industry environments.
• Exposure to headless WordPress or modern frontend frameworks.
