Description

You will lead WordPress development teams while contributing to development through assigned user stories.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of WordPress developers and conduct technical code reviews.
• Drive design discussions and implement development processes and best practices.
• Develop custom plugins, widgets, and advanced WordPress customizations.
• Optimize WordPress performance and integrate with backend technologies, databases, and messaging systems.
• Estimate work completion to build predictable project plans.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in WordPress development and architecture.
• Expertise in PHP, MySQL, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, including creating and consuming web services.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, HTML, and Curl.
• Experience managing WordPress architecture on Azure Cloud.
• Knowledge of Linux administration, including basic commands and application configuration files.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Open Source technology and large-scale WordPress implementations.
