Description

You will manage technical stability and performance for WordPress-based environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, crashes, or plugin conflicts within WordPress websites.
• Perform site maintenance, including monitoring uptime, security, and performance.
• Debug and optimize slow-loading pages to improve Lighthouse scores.
• Assist with plugin configuration, updates, and third-party integration issues.
• Document technical resolutions and contribute to the internal knowledge base.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience working with WordPress, including Multisite, ACF, and WooCommerce.
• Deep knowledge of PHP, WordPress themes, plugins, APIs, and hooks.
• Experience with ACF and ACF Blocks.
• Proficiency in debugging PHP, SQL, and JavaScript (Vanilla, jQuery, AJAX).
• Experience with REST API and third-party integrations using JSON and XML.
• Git proficiency via command line, including merge, rebase, and conflict resolution.
• Foundational CSS skills using SCSS, Bootstrap, or Tailwind.
• Competency with SSH, browser developer tools, and error log analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Linux command-line and SSH.
• Exposure to Jira, Agile environments, CI/CD pipelines, or Docker.
